  • The candidate must be familiar with all essential learning online and Infection Prevention Control (IPC) procedures. The course utilises E-learning and media to create a blended learning experience.

Course Content

Pre-course E-learning:

  • Context behind SJA having a Loggist
  • Understand what is a Major Incident
  • SJA framework & policy for a Major Incident
  • Command Structure of SJA, and where a Loggist fits into this

Course Day:

  • Understand the basics of Command and Control
  • Understand the importance of keeping a Log of decisions
  • Explain what the role of a Loggist is
  • Able to perform the role of a Loggist using best practice
  • Able to log decisions successfully
